Welcome to Mr. Jason Villalobos, the newest member of the Nogales Administrative team. Mr. Villalobos has taken the position of Learning Director/Vice Principal. He is responsible for Curriculum and Instruction, academic interventions, counseling and guidance, freshmen houses, master scheduling, AP, IB, and college/career readiness. He is a veteran school administrator having spent the past six years as a Vice Principal at Paramount High School. Nogales community will be well served by Mr. Villalobos. His first day will be Monday, October 31, 2011.

Congratulations to senior Christopher Akins, whose name and major choice will be referred to over 1,500 U.S. colleges and universities as one of 3,100 Outstanding Participants in the National Achievement Scholarship Program. Christopher scored in the top 3 percent of more than 160,000 Black American students on the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
