Burbank, CA--Several Nogales IB Film/Video students had the opportunity to tour the Warner Brothers Studios and see actual props and sets from such films as Batman and Harry Potter. "As a part of their exploration of the film industry and IB coursework, we wanted to give the students a real life experience to see what a movie studio is like and all the different jobs that are needed in the film making industry," said IB Film teacher Ms. Michelle Reese. Former NHS and IB Film teacher Mr. Jim Ellison accompanied the students and was able to connect with some of the senior students who he had as students when they were sophomores and juniors. "It is always great to be back at Nogales and provide our students with opportunities to explore the arts and their own learning." The IB Film/Video students have completed numerous projects this year including video recording several football games, rallies, and lunch time events. Year-end student projects will be on display in late spring.
