The Nogales High School varsity football team defeated visiting Mountain View High School 32-25 in a game that saw a lot of late scoring. The Vikings went up early 3-0 in the first quarter and then Nogales put up 19 unanswered points taking a 19-3 halftime lead. The Vikings got a break away touchdown late in the third and made the 2-pt conversion to make the score 19-11. The Nobles answered with a TD and a PAT making it 26-11. Then, in the 4th Mountain View broke a long run and made the 2-pt conversion making it 26-19. The Nobles ran the ensuing kick-off back for a TD, but missed the PAT. 32-19. Then, the Vikings returned that kick-off for a TD and missed the PAT. Score 32-25 and that is how it ended after the Nobles drove the ball down to the Vikings 10 yard line and ran out the clock.
