The Rowland Unified School District is currently seeking candidates’ letters of interest for appointment to the Personnel Commission as the Joint Commissioner. The term of office will be December 1, 2024 through December 1, 2027.
The Personnel Commission is a public body responsible for the administration of a Merit System, which oversees the selection, retention, and promotion of Classified (non-teaching) employees in the public school system. It is composed of three (3) members from the local community appointed for three-year terms with the term of one member expiring each year.
Each Personnel Commissioner receives the sum of $50.00 for each meeting attended in any one-month and medical benefits. Personnel Commission meetings are normally held on the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the District Office.
